Not all states in Australia observe daylight saving.

Parking at the beach

If you are spending time at the beach check for parking ticket machines as many beaches on the Northern Beaches have pay parking.

Bank trading hours

Bank hours are generally 9:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 9:30am – 5:00pm Friday.

Some banks are open on Saturday mornings too.

Post Office trading hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am – 12:00pm Saturdays for Post Offices located in major shopping centres.
